Agreement
These terms cover the Enter Rewards Android app and the website EnterRewards.com, both provided by EDW Ventures LLC ("EDW Ventures", "we", "us"). By using the app or the website, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use them. Getting the app through Google Play is also covered by Google Play's own terms.
What Enter Rewards does
Enter Rewards reads printed reward and promotion codes from photos you take, lets you review and correct them, and helps you copy each code and keep track of what happened when you entered it.
Enter Rewards does not redeem codes for you. It never signs in to a rewards program, never fills in or submits a form, and never gets around age checks, CAPTCHAs or program limits. You enter every code yourself.
Independent utility
Enter Rewards is an independent utility and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any rewards program. Program names and trademarks belong to their owners. Recognizing a program's code format does not mean that program endorses or works with Enter Rewards.
Your responsibilities
- Follow the rules of each rewards program you use, including its eligibility requirements, age requirements, entry limits and deadlines.
- Only scan and enter codes you are entitled to use.
- Check each code before you submit it.
- Don't use Enter Rewards to break a program's rules or any law.
Recognition isn't perfect
Reading printed text from photos can go wrong. The app may misread a character, miss a code, or pick up text that isn't a code. It flags characters it's unsure about, but it can't catch every mistake. Warnings about codes you've already entered, and your counts, are based only on what's recorded in the app on your phone.
We aren't responsible for codes that are rejected, expired, already used or entered incorrectly, or for decisions a rewards program makes about your account or rewards.
Other websites
Rewards programs' websites are run by others. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content, availability, rules or privacy practices. Your use of those websites is covered by their terms.
Free use, the unlock, and refunds
Enter Rewards is planned to be free to download. Scanning, review and history are free, and you can copy your first 3 different codes for free. Copying more codes needs a one-time in-app unlock, bought through Google Play at the price Google Play shows when you buy it. The unlock is tied to the Google account you buy it with and can be restored on a new phone through the app. Google processes the payment. Refund requests are handled under Google Play's refund policies, and a refunded unlock is removed. If you have a problem with your purchase, you can also contact us.
License
When you get Enter Rewards, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on Android devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use, under these terms and Google Play's terms. Please don't copy, resell, or redistribute the app, or reverse engineer it except where the law allows you to.
Your data
Your photos, codes and history are stored on your phone, not by us. You're responsible for them, and we can't recover data that is deleted or lost. Our Privacy Policy explains what the app stores and what leaves your device.
Changes
The app may change through updates. We may also update these terms; when we do, we'll change the effective date at the top of this page. If you keep using the app or the website after an update, the updated terms apply.
Disclaimer
To the extent the law allows, Enter Rewards and this website are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise that the app will read every code correctly or be free of errors.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, EDW Ventures LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost rewards, prizes or opportunities, arising from your use of Enter Rewards or this website. Our total liability for any claim relating to Enter Rewards is limited to the amount you paid for the app. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
